  EMAILING TAX RECEIPTS / INVOICES  
 
A new feature that has been recently added to VetlinkSQL in version 4.20 and above is the ability to email tax receipts and tax invoices. For those GREEN practices who want to reduce your carbon foot print this feature will cut down on your paper consumption while all practices will benefit from adding email addresses to your client database.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
When you finish a tax receipt or tax invoice the usual print prompt will appear on screen. An 'Email It' button has been added to this prompt which will email the tax receipt or tax invoice as a PDF attachment to the client. By default VetlinkSQL will grab the email addresses from the client record and show it on screen. You are then able to edit this address or add a new one which will be stored to the client record.

CAN I EMAIL OLD TAX RECEIPTS / INVOICES?
You can email old tax invoices tax receipts by opening the old invoice from account history or from the client record and then selecting 'Actions' and 'Email this Invoice'.

HOW DO I SET MY EMAIL UP?
To enable this feature you need to make sure you have configured your email settings in VetlinkSQL. Please refer to Tip #220 for information on configuring your email settings.
